All parts of the serial were shot in Agumbe, Shimoga district. L. Vaidyanathan composed the music and Padam Raag Films’ T.S. Produced by Narasimhan. One episode of the serial is the story of RK Narayan’s Swami and Friends and Sweets Seller anthology.. Agumbe served as the backdrop for the fictional town of Malgudi in the serial and visitors can explore the locations featured in the show.
